In a growing number of applications, there is need to digitize signals whose spectral characteristics are challenging for traditional Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs). Examples, among others, include systems where the ADC must acquire at once very wide but sparsely and dynamically occupied bandwidth supporting diverse services, as well signal interest subject strong narrowband co-channel interference. such scenarios, resolution requirements can be prohibitively high. As an alternative, recently proposed modulo-ADC architecture in principle require dramatically fewer bits conversation obtain target fidelity, requires that information about spectrum known explicitly taken into account by analog digital processing converter, which frequently impractical. To address this limitation, we develop blind version no knowledge without sacrificing performance. particular, it features automatic modulo-level adjustment fully adaptive modulo unwrapping mechanism, allowing asymptotically match unknown input signal. addition detailed analysis, simulations demonstrate attractive performance representative settings.
